There are plenty of systems designed for helping network marketers master the art of making money on the net. We have been discussing the reasons you MUST be using landing pages. In this lesson we are going to evaluate moneymaking landing or capture pages. And take a video tour of pages proven to convert traffic into leads. There are two ways you can go.
  1. You can create your own landing pages and link them to affiliate programs or straight to your MLM opportunity.
  2. You can join a marketing system that provides you with landing pages proven to convert network marketing opportunity seekers into leads.
I prefer the marketing system, even if you have experience on the web and know you can write good ad copy.  In my experience this choice will give you a built in training model for your new recruits and save you the headache. When designing your own landing pages or evaluating a marketing system and the tools it offers there are six critical factors to look for in the layout according to David Garfinkel.
  • The COPY itself should have 3 parts
  1. Compelling Headline With Benefits
  2. Bullets Describing Irresistible Free Information
  3. Good Opt In Copy To Eliminate Fear
  • COLOR – You can easily test your market but you will most likely want to stay away form bold bright colors.  Background colors of dark blue, white or gray have proven effective for most audiences.
  • DESIGN – For the entrepreneurial and network-marketing audience the ad copy is far more important than the look and feel.  Now, that’s no excuse for being sloppy but spend more time on copy then design.  Don’t sweat the small stuff.
  • OFFER – This is the CRUCIAL piece – it must be compelling.  Its value must be worth giving up ones private email address.
  1. Focus more on what it does for the prospect than what it is
  2. Build Curiosity – Build Desire
  3. Keep the details to yourself
Tim Erway points out that the most important thing to focus on here is making sure the offer is perceived to be more valuable than the privacy of the email.
  • PRIVACY – Speaking of privacy make a strong statement about how you value and will protect your prospects privacy.
  • OPT-IN – The opt- in submit button should be positive in nature.  Something like “I Want In” or “Free Instant Access”
If you are new to the world of on line marketing or have had a website with little success in driving traffic to it, this may seem a litter overwhelming. I thought it was at first too.
